after being led to anders’ facebook, i decided to scope out his wife situation. you know, get an idea of what these bromeo’s are putting a ring on these days.
YOU GUYS. anders is married to a chick who speaks WOLOF. a.k.a. the most useless language to know in the entire world, which i also happen to speak! she’s also a fan of one of my favorite organizations.

Way back in December of 2010 we were in Lyon just clowning around…
Clearly, our crash-pad seemed like the perfect setting to take some test-shots for the cover of RECollection. As you can plainly see, no expense was spared.
That’s VanyaVanya behind the lens, and Mr. Producer trips the lights.
We wound up using this self-portrait I took for the cover of RECollection. [But props to anyone who can find the photo that’s being taken here by Vanya.] :oD

Have you ever just listened to the background music/”beat” of this song and just laughed and laughed? Because you should.
Also, Justin Timberlake is the most ridiculous fool of a swagged out white boy. I think this is maybe why I’m crushin’- he is the male version of DJ Van Snuggs (that would be me).

HESHER is coming out May 13! I loved making this movie, and I love how it turned out. It’s hilarious, but it’s not just funny, it’s smart, it’s sad, it’s hopeful, it’s heartfelt, and it fuckin rocks. Natalie decided to produce Spencer’s script for a reason, and by the way her character’s nothing like you’ve seen her. Devin, the protagonist, is a truly talented young actor. Rainn gave a legit no-joke badass dramatic performance. And, I’m humbled to say, Metallica themselves liked it so much they gave us their music, they never give their stuff to movies!
Now this really is an “indie” film, meaning it’s being independently released without any huge corporations behind the marketing and advertising and all that jazz. 500 Days of Summer had that “indie” spirit, but it was put out by Fox Searchlight who has tons of resources to spread the word. HESHER’s just got us. So pass it around!
Takes JGL’s crush-status to a whole new level.

I’ve been meaning to show my mom GarageBand for a long time. When we were hanging out on my birthday a few nights ago, it seemed a good time. We made a little ditty. Then Major Tom made this great stop-motion animation to it, which I just cut up a bit, et voilà.
